Congruent Figures

Congruent figures: Two figures are said to be congruent if they completely superimpose on one another, or we can that if one figure is cut and placed on the other figure, it will overlap the figure completely

In the figure 1 we have two triangles ABC and DEF which are congruent to each other. The Vertex A leftrightarrow D,  B leftrightarrow E and C leftrightarrow F. or we can say that two figure are congruent even if they overlap after one figure is rotated.  The triangle ABC points upwards, while the triangle DEF points downwards but the measure of the corresponding sides of both triangles are exactly the same. In fact, the second triangle is the same as the first; it's just been rotated. So, these shapes are congruent.
